  3. I have a copy of this book, I forgot how great the interior drawings are. Weird how the cover painting is so stiff and formal compared to the drawings inside. Krenkel truly deserves more recognition.

    I am wondering how you scan the images? You must have to crease back the binding on a paperback to get a decent flat scan.

    Thanks for presenting all the incredible artwork on your blog. So many treasures I have never seen!

  4. There were three of those Haydon books, and the third had illustrations by Krenkel which were inked by Mike Kaluta if I remember right.
    I'd love to see the original art or an edition with better reproduction.
